Happiness is…Adidas Originals

Whether or not that title is grammatically correct is irrelevant because you know exactly what I mean.  After seeing the Adidas Originals House Party video, with cameos by, among others, David Beckham, Russell Simmons, Missy Elliot and DMC, I checked out the Adidas Originals website to take a look at the new kicks.  I was pleasantly surprised to find a full ten new pages of shoes, the best of which (in my opinion) I have posted, after the jump

Bape Sta White/Blue Star

Fresh off the line for the new 2008 Bape Fall/Autumn Collection, These kicks are made with leather and have a blue Bathing Ape patterned star.  They remind me that I have needs.  I would take Bapes over Dunks any day, and I’m not sure I’ve ever met anyone who wouldn’t agree with me.  >>More Pics after the Jump

Create Your Own Custom Puma’s

I love when a shoe company lets you customize your own kicks.  When they arrive in the mail 6 weeks later than you wanted them, they feel like they are just that much more your own. But seriously, it’s a lot of fun, so when I heard from some dudes that you could customize your own Pumas, I cruised over to the Puma Mongolian Shoe BBQ to check it out.

Puma lets you customize 20 different parts of the shoe-everything from the tongue to the toe-with myriad different colors and materials to choose from.  It’s not a new idea, but with the design of a Mongolian stir-fry, it’s got an innovative look to it.  I’ve included pics of the process and one shoe I did to show you guys an example of the finished product.  Pics and more after the jump
