Jay-Z to release Blueprint 3.

8 08 2008

Yep. It’s been confirmed, on an interview with AHH (allhiphop.com) former Def Jam front man, is in the studio right now working on the new album Blueprint III. It was also confirmed at MSG when Kanye West brought out Jay for a surprise performance.

The album is supposed to be set for a fourth quarter release. With the lead single to drop sometime this fall.

Excuse me while I drop a few bars of freestyle in excitement…

It’s ready set go for the blueprint 3, I’m so excited I might just pee, but I’m so fresh that it wouldn’t even matta, if I accidently released my bladda. So just let it sink in and steady your pace, cause the Blueprint 3 is gonna come on your face.

Remixing Kanye West.

1 08 2008

My thoughts on this subject are as follows.

1. Don’t do it.

The only people who I can really accept remixing Kanye are names like Lupe, Jay-Z, Nas, Kanye, and maybe even Deezle. Other than that, you better have a remix better than the original song, which is probably as likely as reinventing something as awesome as, oh I don’t know, the Internet. As it happens, I ran across something today actually on Kanye’s Blog.

The comment went something like this.

This is Kanye being dissapointed in you Mr. Choi

“Hey Kanye I made a remix of Barry Bonds. It’s HOTTT. Check it out here at ….”

Fuck you. Seriously, If your going to make a song shitty, do it to a song that was already shitty like, Crank dat Batman, or for that matter any one of the numerous Crank Dat songs, which I bet you can’t do.

I then read his Myspace page which went on to say that he worked on a TV show for Nickelodeon called (here’s the kicker) ” Yo Gabba Gabba”. Yes I am telling the truth.

I’m going to let you all check it out, and I don’t feel bad about putting his shit on blast, because he did it first. So if you want to check it out, it’s right here. Sir please kindly think about what your doing before doing it again, because god forbid the day you try to remix the illmatic album. Stick to making beats for whoever Gabba is.

Graduation Sneaks

25 07 2008

Inspired by the artwork for Kanye West’s Graduation album released in 2007. The images and color schemes are from the original artwork of Takeshi Murakami, and Kanye’s “shutter shade” sunglasses from the Stronger music video. I think these sneaks are the hottest shit to hit the streets since Funk Master Flex.

You can check out more of Takeshi Murakami’s artwork here
